I never planned to become a digital entrepreneur. For years, I was busy raising six children under the age of 10 in a makeshift expanded trailer, finding creative solutions to life's challenges while living on less than $20,000 a year. I've worn many hats - helping a local chandler in her small business, helping my dad manage his mechanic business, correctional officer, reseller of second hand merchandise, was a bartender & waited tables, worked in retail, Navy veteran, wife (x3) and teen mom. None of it's been easy and I'm always trying to find a better system.
At 45, everything changed. I discovered thru perimenopause that neurodivergence ran thru my family in different ways, and suddenly my lifetime of creating "workarounds" made sense. All those unique ways I'd developed to manage tasks, my love for helping others find value in overlooked things, and my ability to see the big picture while struggling with the connections - they weren't flaws. They were strengths waiting to be understood.
One of my many fascinations has been with computers. Since my grandfather introduced me to my first Apple Commodore 64 with a tape deck , I was taught to copy code into the computer and create a bouncing ball that went across the screen. Nothing fancy, but it sure amazed me!
Now, I'm channeling those same problem-solving skills into the digital world. I'm building multiple websites and ecommerce stores on a single platform, creating digital products, and mastering the art of funnels and newsletters. But I'm doing it my way - with systems and strategies that work for me and maybe, they can help someone else. Do I have anything completely built? I have bits and pieces. As I build, others will get to see it come to life more and more. I am what they call a multi-passionate person and I build in a spiderweb style
This isn't just about building online businesses. It's about finding your path when traditional methods don't work for you. Whether you're:
- In your fifties, looking for work that's easier on your body.
- Dealing with brain fog and executive function challenges.
- Struggling to piece together all the parts of digital marketing.
- Learning to embrace your unique way of processing information.
I'm here to share my journey and the step-by-step processes I'm finding or creating along the way. Sometimes the most powerful solutions come from those who've had to find different ways to solve problems.
Welcome to my creative world. Let's build something remarkable together, one small step at a time.
